Bunǎ ziua, stimate domn. Doresc să fac următoarele precizări în legǎtură cu modificările aduse de mine paginii

Tabel sau format tip cutie

Fa si tu un format tip cutie cum e la Grigorescu sau un tabel pentru Expoziția artiștilor în viață din anul 1870‎. Deocamdata nu sunt decat sapte imagini ale participantilor la expozitie. Vor mai aparea si restul in decursul timpului. Trebuie sa fie upgradabila si cu restul celor notabili. Deocamdata nu-i am nici yo. Titlul sa fie

Salut, am lucrat la ea, încă n-am terminat. Editorul meu nu s-a descurcat cu spațiile neîntreruptibile, o să te rog să le rezolvi, dar după ce termin, că altfel editorul iar face „boacăna”. Turbojet, am făcut un pic de curățenie prin comentarii. Anul morții autorilor ar trebui trecuți în câmpul "Copyright", în funcție de care se decide dacă imaginea merge la Commons sau ro.wp. Imaginile și coordonatele greșite scoateți-le direct, sunt date interne extrase automat, dacă-s greșite sunt greșite. Eventual, marcați imaginile cu |eroare = 1 la commons ca să știm de ele. Și dacă tot suntem la imagini greșite, poate aruncați o privire și la File:Arad-pozele-mele-piata-mica-casa-monum-1.jpg: monument e sigur, nu știu codul dacă e bun.--Strainu (دسستي‎)  8 septembrie 2017 21:52 (EEST)

Am înțeles. :) Adică acum știu ce să fac. La arhitecți, unde nu sunt încă articole am zis să rețin undeva informația cu anii, care va fi mutată în articole.

Zilele astea mă mai duc o dată la Arad (să fie soare), o să văd. Ei au coduri la fiecare clădire și au pus pe ele simbolul de monument istoric. La poza în discuție, o fi monument, dar sigur nu la codul ăla, că există pe net imagini ale clădirii cu codul. Sursa „city” este un proiect transfrontalier cu finanțare europeană, ăia nu s-au putut juca dacă au vrut banii. Ungurii sigur vor adevărul, poate revendică ceva. Cum ziceam, o să văd.

Sunt greșeli și la ei. Pe bd. Revoluției la Palatul Albert Szabó e plăcuța cu nr. 94, dar din alte poze (nu ale mele) rezultă că e 92, cum scrie în LMI. Vreun Dorel a încurcat borcanele, că 94 este sediul Univ. Vasile Goldiș, alături. Și-au dat seama și ei, au scrijelit „4”-le, abia se mai distinge. :) --Turbojet 8 septembrie 2017 22:21 (EEST)

Recent changes

• The number of active users listed by {{NUMBEROFACTIVEUSERS}} and on Special:Statistics will now only include Wikidata edits as activity on Wikidata and not on other wikis too. [1]
• Previously you could create wiki links starting with two colons. Now you need to use one colon. [[::File:X.jpg]] now has to be [[:File:X.jpg]]. There is now a new Linter category. You can see a list on Special:Linterrors/multi-colon-escape. The Linter extension helps you find technical errors in articles. You can read more about using Linter. [2]

Problems

• You will not be able to edit or upload files to Commons for around 30 minutes on 11 October. This will start at 06:00 UTC. This is because of work to let Commons show 3D models. [3]

Changes later this week

• The font in the edit window is monospace by default. Today you can change preferences to another font family or use "the browser default" instead of monospace. Switching to the browser default has only changed the font on Macs. The option to use browser default will be removed this week. [4]
• If you want to print a page or make a PDF of a page you can do so in the side menu. The way the pages look when you do this will change. You can read more on mediawiki.org.
• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 10 October. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 11 October. It will be on all wikis from 12 October (calendar).

Recent changes

• When you edit a template with the visual editor it follows the template's format configuration on how to save it. You can now change the format in more powerful ways if your wiki wants it. [5][6]
• The TwoColConflict extension is a new way to solve edit conflicts. It makes it easier to copy and paste the relevant text to the text field. It has been a beta feature for the last five months. You can now try out the new interface on a page where you will actually get simulated edit conflicts. You can give feedback to the developers.

Problems

• There is a problem with recent changes pages and your watchlist that show a large number of pages. Until it is fixed, Wikidata edits will not be shown on recent changes or in your watchlist on Commons or Russian Wikipedia. If necessary, Wikidata edits will be removed from all wikis. [7]
• Notifications are not working for some actions. For example some users don't get a notification when they are mentioned. The developers are working on fixing this. [8]
• Users on some wikis could not change their preferences. This has now been fixed. [9]

Changes later this week

• Editors and readers who still use Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP will not be able to use Wikipedia from 17 October. Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP can't connect securely to the wikis. When we allow them to do so it means that we get less security for everyone else. If you use Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP you can install Firefox 52 ESR instead. Around 0.1% of the traffic to the Wikimedia wikis comes from Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP. [10]
• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 17 October. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 18 October. It will be on all wikis from 19 October (calendar).

Biserica ortodoxă din Nădlac

O să scriu articolul. Deocamdată am încărcat imagini la c:Category:Greek Orthodox Church of St Nicholas in Nădlac. Acestea se referă la codurile AR-II-m-B-00634, AR-II-m-B-00634.01 și AR-II-m-B-00634.02 . Nu știu unde este cazul să apară parametrul de eroare. Turbojet, îmi cer scuze că am uitat să răspund, deși am văzut mesajul. În general am lăsat codul pentru imagini cu pictura și catapeteasma pentru că cel puțin la bisericile mai noi fac parte din ansamblul gândit de arhitect, deci nu cred că e necesară vreo modificare. Articolul văd că se dezvoltă frumos; citind secțiunea despre pictură mă gândesc dacă merită decupată imaginea lui Isus din Batjocorirea pentru a ilustra articolul Ioan Zaicu?--Strainu (دسستي‎)  19 octombrie 2017 17:22 (EEST)

• You can use ccnorm_contains_any when you create an abuse filter. This can be used to look for multiple words or phrases within a string. It will find words where some characters have been replaced. You can read more in the documentation. [11]

• When you search in some languages the search function could use specific other languages if the first language didn't work. This is called a fallback language. This didn't work properly and created bad searches. The search index is being fixed to work better. [12]

Format:Infocaseta Monument

Deși în documentație nu zice, parametrii „localitate” și „tara” sunt obligatorii; fără vreunul din ei se semnalează eroare în scripturi. Am observat asta aici, unde sunt două casete și la a doua nu mi s-a părut necesar să precizez. Nici embedded sau module nu mi-a mers. N-ar fi o problemă, că e logic ca acești parametri să existe; doar am semnalat, poate ar trebui specificat în documentație. Andrei Stroe, poți te rog să arunci o privire? Cauza imediată e lipsa elementului Wikidata, dar am căutat și error-checking-ul lipsă. Am editat {{Valoare unică de la Wikidata}} și am lăsat doar invocarea de Modul:Wikidata și nu mai apărea categoria de eroare. Pe de altă parte, în Modul:StringUtils parametrii vin corect - args[1] nu există și atunci ca să elimin apelul unei chei invalide am scris direct str = nil și tot apare categoria. Pare să fie de la makeInvokeFunc, dar nu mă prind cum, probabil ceva prin Module:Arguments? Se poate testa cu Utilizator:Strainu/3.--Strainu (دسستي‎)  23 octombrie 2017 16:40 (EEST)

Hello! Thank you very much for signing up to the community focus group for Structured Commons :-)

How to organize ourselves?

This focus group is new and experimental, and I welcome your tips and thoughts on how we can organize this in the most convenient and productive way. For now, I have posted a few separate topics on the focus group's talk page. Please add your questions there too! If we all add that page to our watchlist, that's probably a good way to stay up to date with current discussions. Steinsplitter has also initiated a brand new IRC channel specifically for Structured Commons: wikimedia-commons-sd ^(webchat) which we invite you to join. Please let me know if you have other ideas on how to work together.

Current updates

• For your agenda: IRC office hour about Structured Commons, Tuesday 21 November at 18:00 UTC in wikimedia-office ^(webchat).
• A newsletter about Structured Commons is sent out later today. Its frequency will probably increase from now on. You are warmly invited to contribute to next issues — don't hesitate to add updates.
• The documentation and info pages about Structured Data on Commons have received a thorough (and much overdue) update this week, in order to get them ready for all the upcoming work. Obsolete pages were archived. There are undoubtedly still a lot of omissions and bits that are unclear. You can help by editing boldly, and by leaving feedback and tips on the talk pages.

• We now have a dedicated IRC channel: wikimedia-commons-sd ^webchat

Things to do / input and feedback requests

• Join the community focus group!
• Translation. Do you want to help out translating messages about Structured Data on Commons from English to your own language? Sign up on the translators page.
• The documentation and info pages about Structured Data on Commons have received a thorough update, in order to get them ready for all the upcoming work. Obsolete pages were archived. There are undoubtedly still a lot of omissions and bits that are unclear. You can help by editing boldly, and by leaving feedback and tips on the talk pages.
• We have started to list tools, gadgets and bots that might be affected by Structured Commons in order to prepare for a smooth transition to the new situation. You can help by adding alerts about/to specific tools and developers on the dedicated tools page. You can also create Phabricator tasks to help keep track of this. Volunteers and developers interested in helping out with this process are extremely welcome - please sign up!

Presentations / Press / Events

Audience at Structured Commons design discussion, Wikimania 2017

• Structured Data on Commons was presented at Wikimania 2017 in Montréal for a packed room. First design sketches for search functionality were discussed during a breakout session. Read the Etherpad reports of the presentation and the breakout session.
• Katherine Maher, Executive Director of the Wikimedia Foundation, answered questions on Quora. One of her answers, mentioning Structured Data on Commons, was republished on Huffington Post.
• Sandra Fauconnier, Amanda Bittaker and Ramsey Isler from the Structured Commons team will be at WikidataCon. Sandra presents Structured Commons there (with a focus on fruitful collaboration between the Wikidata and Commons communities). If you attend the conference, don't hesitate to say hi and have a chat with us! (phabricator task T176858)

Team updates

The Structured Commons team at Wikimania 2017

Two new people have been hired for the Structured Data on Commons team. We are now complete! :-)

• Ramsey Isler is the new Product Manager of the Multimedia team.
• Pamela Drouin was hired as User Interface Designer. She works at the Multimedia team as well, and her work will focus on the Structured Commons project.

Partners and allies

• We are still welcoming (more) staff from GLAMs (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums) to become part of our long-term focus group (phabricator task T174134). You will be kept in the loop of the project, and receive regular small surveys and requests for feedback. Get in touch with Sandra if you're interested - your input in helping to shape this project is highly valued!

Research

Design research is ongoing.

• Jonathan Morgan and Niharika Ved have held interviews with various GLAM staff about their batch upload workflows and will finish and report on these in this quarter. (phabricator task T159495)
• At this moment, there is also an online survey for GLAM staff, Wikimedians in Residence, and GLAM volunteers who upload media collections to Wikimedia Commons. The results will be used to understand how we can improve this experience. (phabricator task T175188)
• Upcoming: interviews with Wikimedia volunteers who curate media on Commons (including tool developers), talking about activities and workflows. (phabricator task T175185)

Development

In Autumn 2017, the Structured Commons development team works on the following major tasks (see also the quarterly goals for the team):

• Getting Multi-Content Revisions sufficiently ready, so that the Multimedia and Search Platform teams can start using it to test and prototype things.
• Determine metrics and metrics baseline for Commons (phabricator task T174519).
• The multimedia team at WMF is gaining expertise in Wikibase, and unblocking further development for Structured Commons, by completing the MediaInfo extension for Wikibase.

Am citit undeva (nu mai știu unde) că adresele identificate prin Geolocalizare ca „(DCH) Data Center/Web Hosting/Transit” sunt asimilabile cu open proxies și pot fi blocate pe loc. E valabil? Exemple recente: 188.241.125.233, 188.240.126.185, 2A02:168:6459:0:7879:658E:6F90:20B1. --Pafsanias (discuție) 29 octombrie 2017 19:31 (EET)

În principiu dacă firma oferă numai servicii de hosting asta e o indicație destul de bună că e vorba de un proxy, deschis sau privat. Totuși, trebuie ținut cont că în perioada asta adresele IPv4 se tranzacționează în draci și e posibil ca bazele de date să fie învechite. De exemplu aici țara e BG, dar adresele de contact sunt în MD.

Eu prefer să mă uit la whois, care ar trebui să fie actualizat, apoi să intru pe site-urile furnizorului și să mă uit ce vinde. În cazul adresei IPv6 pare să aibă servicii full, deci aș zice că nu sunt sunt suficiente motive de îngrijorare. La fel și pentru 188.241.125.233.
