Michael Bay (născut la 17 februarie 1965) este un regizor și producător de film american. A fost născut la Los Angeles. Este cunoscut pentru filmele sale cu buget mare. Dintre cele mai importante pelicule ale sale pot fi menționate Bad Boys (1995, cu Will Smith), The Rock (1996, cu Sean Connery și Nicolas Cage), Armageddon (1998, cu Bruce Willis și Ben Affleck), Bad Boys 2 (2003, cu Will Smith), Transformers (2007), Transformers 2: Răzbunarea celor învinși (2009) și Transformers 3: Fața ascunsă a Lunii (2011).
