Charlotte Rampling

Charlotte Rampling (n. 5 februarie 1946 în Sturmer, Essex, Anglia) este o actriță engleză, căreia i s-a acordar distincția Order of the British Empire. Prin anii 1970 se stabilește în Franța și șn 1976 se căsătorește cu muzicianul Jean Michel Jarre. La scurt timp divorțează, i se acordă o serie de premii ca de exemplu "César" și premiul european ca cea mai bună actriță, sau în 2000 este numită Officer of the Order of the British Empire.

Date biografice

Charlotte este fiica unui ofițer britanic și a atletei Godfrey Rampling. Ea a urmat școli de renume din Franța și Anglia, apoi a început studiul dramaturgiei la The Royal Court și a lucrat ca fotomodel. În anii următori apare în filme ca The Knack (1965), La caduta degli dei sau Il Portiere di notte, ultimul film a provocat un scandal.
