Christopher D'Olier Reeve^[3] (n. 25 septembrie 1952 - d. 10 octombrie 2004) a fost un actor, regizor, producător, scenarist, autor și activist american, cunoscut mai ales pentru interpretarea rolului "Superman". În mai 1995, în timp ce filma are loc un accident în care actorul, căzând de pe cal pe platourile din Charlottesville, rămâne paralizat de la gât în jos pentru toată viața.
