Copertă joc video

Doresc să propun {{Joc video-copertă}} dat fiind faptul că de acum încolo vor apărea un număr nemaipomenit de mare de articole asupra jocurilor video; este deja folosit formatul în vreo 30 de imagini Outslide 18 martie 2007 00:50 (EET)

Am introdus opțiunea „Joc video-copertă”. Problema este însă că numărul de licențe a crescut atît de mult încît pentru utilizatori începe să devină un calvar căutarea opțiunii potrivite. Cred că ar trebui să limităm numărul formatelor de licență, mai ales acolo unde de fapt nu e vorba de licențe separate, ci de diferențe neesențiale. De exemplu în cazul formatului „Joc video-copertă” ideea este de utilizare cinstită, indiferent de motiv, deci nu prea se justifică un format în plus. Remove GFDL

GFDL is meant for software and it is not good for media because it makes it difficult to re-use the material. Motivated by the the wish of making it easier to re-use files Wikimedia Foundation Board decided in 2009 to stop using GFDL as a sole license per this message. I'm against the removal as the uploader can be used for more generic files, not only images. But we can move it to the "alte licențe" section. Strainu (دسستي‎)  14 aprilie 2021 20:02 (EEST)

Am fost întrebat și cu mulți ani în urmă, când s-a pus problema dacă la GFDL să se atașeze și licențe CC. Am fost de acord. Pentru cei care nu-și amintesc exact, cerința GFDL era că pentru produsele care încorporau materiale licențiate GFDL era obligatoriu să fie licențiate și ele GFDL în totalitate, ceea ce nu convenea multora (în special lui Microsoft). Nu de media era vorba în realitate, ci de free software care nu putea fi folosit în software comercial. Că nici media nu se putea folosi de materialele GFDL a fost bonus.

Dacă Strainu zice că trebuie păstrată licența uploaderului, atunci chiar că trebuie mutat în „separanda”, deoarece licența GFDL, chiar dacă este acceptabilă pentru Wikipedia, nu este compatibilă cu intențiile Wikipediei de a pune la dispoziție materiale libere utilizabile inclusiv comercial. În opinia mea nimeni din cei care vor folosi text sau imagini GFDL de pe Wikipedia (nu) va fi de acord să-și declare tot site-ul (sau la ce a folosit) GFDL, cum cere licența GFDL. --Turbojet  14 aprilie 2021 20:16 (EEST)

• Yes Strainu some software and manuals are licensed with the GNU General Public License. Screenshots of such software can be uploaded to Commons. But I doubt there will be many cases where it is relevant to use {{GFDL}}. Can you think of some examples? If the license is removed as one of the suggested licenses it will still be possible to add it manually. Yes, I Still oppose it. We have users who explicitly refuse to use Commons, I see no reason why we should limit our options for philosophical reasons. Strainu (دسستي‎)  7 mai 2021 15:48 (EEST)

Thank you Strainu! I would say that the reason is the m:Vision of Wikipedia etc.: "Imagine a world in which every single human being can freely share in the sum of all knowledge. That's our commitment." I like that vision and I hope most users on Wikipedia does :-)

Besides if there are some users that do not want to upload the file to Commons they can upload it locally. What I'm proposing is simply that we remove GFDL as a suggested license. Why suggest users to chose a bad license? We should suggest that they use a good license and if anyone does not want to use a good license they can add a bad license manually. --MGA73 (discuție) 7 mai 2021 20:55 (EEST)

Fără legătură cu ce e discută mai sus, ci doar cu comentariul de mai sus: Partea cu „the sum of all knowledge” nu este adevărată oricum, căci asta ar însemna și acoperirea subiectelor care nu sunt notabile, conform criteriilor de la Wikipedia:Notabilitate etc. (la ro.wp), iar subiectele care nu sunt notabile nu fac parte din viziune sau practica curentă... See, this whole discussion is philosophical from the start. :) Instead of focusing on the mission, I suggest more down to earth measurements: how many GFDL images have been uploaded in the last few yearsand how many of those should have been licensed otherwise? But if no or very few files are uploaded with GFDL then what is the problem in removing the license from the list of suggested licenses? I'm sure that if anyone feel strong enough for using GFDL then they also know how to add the license manually.

If you check Categorie:Imagini GFDL there are 683 files and I doubt that more than 10 of them needs to be GFDL. So noone will miss the license.

Take Fișier:Tabla sablata.jpg for example. It was uploaded in 2007 so per the resolution mentioned above it should have been license updated and also include cc-by-sa-3.0. But for some reason ro.wiki have not implemented the license update yet (12 years after). --MGA73 (discuție) 8 mai 2021 01:37 (EEST)

Just as info: English Wikipedia have decided to restrict uploads of GFDL as of 1 August 2021. So it is not just "not recommended" it is "no longer acceptable". At the moment only 18 of the 159 wikis I checked (I skipped those that had no files uploaded). Still have GFDL only as an option on MediaWiki:Licenses. --MGA73 (discuție) 4 iulie 2021 19:12 (EEST)
