What does this match on Commons

I just asked at Discuție Format:DP-enc-ro-1962 if that template could be replaced by this one.

If files in Categorie:Imagini din D.E.R. 1962 are PD and usable then they should be easy to move to Commons.

Format:DP-ro-1956 has iw to Commons:Template:PD-RO-1956

On mediawiki Format:DP-ro-1956 links to Commons:Template:PD-RO-photo

Perhaps the problem is that the template on ro.wiki matches two templates on Commons?

Yes, DP-ro-1956 also covers DP-enc-ro-1962. As OTRS volunteer, IMO DP-enc-ro-1962 should be replaced with DP-ro-1956 and deleted. --Turbojet  14 mai 2020 21:07 (EEST)

MGA73, indeed, there are 2 templates on commons and a single one here. I don't know why they have been setup this way; there is a single article in the 1956 law which covers both cases, I believe it would make sense to merge them. The association on mediawiki was done by me to the photo template because it's far more common to export photos than encyclopedias, but the "correct" name on commons should be PD-RO-1956.--Strainu (دسستي‎)  14 mai 2020 23:07 (EEST)
