Krypton este un serial TV american dezvoltat de David S. Goyer și Damian Kindler pentru Syfy. Serialul are loc pe planeta omonimă, cu aproximativ 200 de ani înainte de nașterea lui Kal-El / Superman și distrugerea eventuală a planetei, concentrându-se asupra vieții bunicului lui Superman, Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe).[2] Krypton a avut premiera la 21 martie 2018 și primul sezon are 10 episoade.

- Cameron Cuffe as Seg-El: Superman's grandfather and Jor-El's father; athletic, quietly confident, and in his 20s. A younger version of the "grumpier" character from the comics.[3][4]
- Georgina Campbell as Lyta-Zod: A reluctant cadet and warrior in the Kryptonian military, who is in a clandestine relationship with Seg-El.[3][5]
- Shaun Sipos as Adam Strange: a human from the future who forewarns Seg-El of Brainiac, and tells him of his grandson Kal-El.
- Elliot Cowan as Daron-Vex: The chief magistrate of Kandor, charged with defending Krypton's oligarchy.[6]
- Ann Ogbomo as Jayna-Zod: The Primus of the Kryptonian military guild and mother of Lyta.[3][5][6]
- Aaron Pierre as Dev-Em: A "chiseled, twenty-something bad boy".[3][6]
- Rasmus Hardiker as Kem: An engineer and Seg's best friend.[6]
- Wallis Day as Nyssa-Vex: A junior magistrate and the daughter of Daron-Vex.[6]
- Blake Ritson as Brainiac: An alien being from the future who has travelled back in time to destroy Krypton.
- Ian McElhinney as Val-El: Seg's grandfather, who defied death by going to the Phantom Zone and is a staunch believer in space exploration.[3][6]
