Deutsch: Das Landkreiswappen wurde auf Antrag des Kreistags durch Entschließung des bayerischen Staatsministeriums des Innern vom 22. Dezember 1954 verliehen und durch ein Schreiben der Regierung der Oberpfalz vom 22. März 1977 in Regensburg bestätigt.
