Doris Lessing, s-a născut cu numele de Doris May Tayler la data de 22 octombrie 1919 în Iran, din părinți englezi. Doris Lessing este o romancieră din Marea Britanie, laureată a Premiului Nobel pentru literatură în anul 2007.
